Plum Architects has done numerous Mills Act reports, completed ample historic evaluations, and worked on historical resources in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Featured are the Southwest Museum, Divisadero Alterations and Grand Avenue Pool House.

Grand Avenue Poolhouse is an open-air poolhouse on the estate of the Freeman A. Ford House, a Pasadena Landmark Structure designed by Greene & Greene Architects in 1908.

Divisadero Street was a comprehensive renovation of a Category A – Historic Resource in San Francisco.

The Southwest Museum, designed over 100 years ago by the seminal LA architecture firm of Sumner Hunt, is Los Angeles’s first museum. The National Register listed museum has been closed for over 10 years and its future is unclear. Working side by side with the community, Louisa Van Leer of Plum re-imagines a fully restored and expanded Southwest Museum with new exhibition space, lecture hall, education center, improved site circulation, museum store, restaurant/café on the South terrace with sweeping views from Downtown LA across the Arroyo and up to the San Gabriel Mountains.
